Account Settlement
The preferred method of payment is cash or credit card. We accept American Express, Mastercard and Visa. All credit card payments will incur a credit card surcharge. Personal and business cheques are not accepted. Should you have any questions about your account, please contact Guest Services.
Adaptors
The electrical current is 240 volts. International adaptors are available from Reception. A $20 bond will be held on your account and removed when adaptor is returned.
Bike Storage
Bicycle racks are available for your convenience on the western end of the carpark, on the lower ground level.
Business Services
Should you require assistance with photocopying, fax and printing services, please contact Guest Services. Charges apply.
Car Parking
Complimentary self parking is available for your convenience. Plus, Mantra at Sharks has EV charging stations, subject to availability.
Check-In Time
Check in is available from 2pm. Early check-in requests are subject to availability, please see Guest Services.
Check-Out Time
Check out time is 10am. Should you wish to extend your stay or departure time, please contact Guest Services. Late check outs are subject to availability and fees may apply.
Conference & Meeting Space
Mantra at Sharks offers flexible options for meetings and events, with two dedicated hotel meeting rooms and the versatile Sharks Events Centre featuring state-of-the-art AV technology and customisable menus. For same-day bookings, please contact Reception for availability and pricing.
Convenience Items
Fins Cellar located in Southport Sharks offers a large selection of beers, wines, spirits and snacks. Please note, alcohol is not permitted to be sold before 9am daily under Queensland legislation.
Fitness Centre
Southport Sharks Health + Fitness is the perfect location for all your health and fitness needs. Complimentary access is available to hotel guests during Fitness Centre staffed hours only (Mon to Fri 5am – 8pm, Sat 6am-4pm, Sun 8am – 12pm). There is something for everyone, no matter what fitness level, with 80+ Group Fitness classes per week (classes are an additional fee). Please note all classes must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Gaming Room
The gaming room located in the club is open from 10am to 4am daily.
Guest Laundry
For your convenience, a guest laundry is located on the lower ground level of the carpark. The facility is available 24 hours a day and accessed using your room card. The washing machine and dryer are token operated, please visit reception for purchase of tokens and washing powder.
Luggage Services
You are welcome to store your luggage at Reception on the day of your departure, simply chat to our reception team to organise.
If you have an item which is pre-stamped, we will be happy to mail this for you. The hotel receives mail each weekday morning. Should you be expecting mail or other deliveries, please advise Reception.
Reservations
For future stays at Mantra at Sharks, please contact reception and we would be happy to provide a return guest 10% discount for booking directly with us.
Transport
Our Guest Service Agents can assist with booking shuttle bus, hire cars and rideshares. Please provide as much notice as possible. Alternatively local bus stops are located at the end of Melia Court and the nearest G:Link station can be found at Gold Coast University Hospital, an easy 10 minute walk. Guest Services has maps or timetables for public transport at Reception.
